This role focuses on reviewing appraisal reports prepared by reporting appraisers to ensure compliance with USPAP, client engagement requirements, and internal firm standards. The reviewer works closely with producing appraisers and leadership to strengthen analytical rigor, improve reporting standards, and support firmwide QA/QC initiatives. The role provides exposure to a wide range of property types including office, industrial, multifamily, retail, hospitality, and specialty assets.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform technical reviews of commercial appraisal reports prepared by reporting appraisers across multiple property typesEvaluate analyses, opinions, and conclusions for logical consistency, methodological soundness, and supportabilityEnsure appraisal reports comply with USPAP requirements, client guidelines, and firm reporting standardsReview market analysis, highest and best use conclusions, valuation methodology, and reconciliationProvide clear, constructive review comments that improve both report quality and analytical supportTrack recurring review comments and identify opportunities for report format and template improvementsSupport firmwide initiatives related to USPAP, Appraisal Institute, Yellow Book, and client compliance standardsAssist in maintaining internal review scoring and feedback systems used in appraiser performance assessmentsConsolidate feedback from external client reviews and recommend reporting improvementsPartner with leadership and technology teams to improve review efficiency and reporting processesWhat We Are Looking ForExcellent communication, written, and organizational skillsExceptional attention to detail and analytical accuracyAbility to evaluate complex valuation analyses and identify logical inconsistenciesCertified General Real Estate Appraiser license requiredMAI designation preferred5+ years of commercial real estate appraisal review experienceWorking knowledge of reviewing Argus filesDeep working knowledge of USPAP standards and institutional appraisal reporting requirementsWhat We OfferComprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401(k)Professional development for continuing education and industry involvementWhen applying, please include a cover letter providing a detailed explanation of your interest and qualifications for this role, along with your resume.Ready to Shape the Future of Valuation?Join a team where your expertise drives innovation, your leadership builds markets, and your career has no ceiling.
